Tilak Ayurved Mahavidyalaya

Tilak Ayurved Mahavidyalaya was established in the year  26th june 1933, and it is one of the oldest and most respectful institutions determined to study and practice the ayurveda in India. It is located in Rasta Peth, Pune- 411011 Maharashtra. It was started by the Deccan Education Society, the institute was later renamed as the Tilak Ayurved Mahavidyalaya in 1962 in a function which was led by the Chief Minister, Shri Yashvantrao Chavan. The institute was with a vision of reviving and promoting India's ancients medicine through structured academics and the technological research.

The institution spans 2 acres of land and offers Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs in Ayurveda. The institution is affiliated with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik.

It attaches classical Ayurvedic teaching with modern medical knowledge, over the history of Mahavidyalaya, it has given instrumental training and has graduated thousands of students in the field of Ayurvedic making them participate around 7000 UG, and 1100 PG alumni.It has offered supportive experience faculty, well-equipped laboratories and an attached teaching hospital for clinical training.
