About AIIMS

All‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Nagpur is a premier government medical and research institute located at the Multi-Modal International Cargo Hub and Airport at Nagpur (MIHAN), Maharashtra, India. It was established in 2018 as one of the projects of the Government of India’s Phase-IV expansion of the AIIMS series to deliver excellent medical education, world-class healthcare, and high-quality biomedical research. As an Autonomous Institute under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, AIIMS Nagpur carries out the primary mission of the AIIMS system which is to enhance medical training and patient care and, at the same time, foster innovation and research in health ‍‌‍‍‌sciences.

The‍‌‍‍‌ institute provides an MBBS course for which the entrance is through the NEET-UG examination, further it also offers postgraduate medical training through NEET-PG/INI CET in a wide range of disciplines, thereby providing an all-round academic process starting from the undergraduate level to higher medical education.
