Dr DY Patil Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre Pimpri, Pune is one of the prominent medical education and healthcare institutes. It was established in 1996 and it was founded by Dr PD Patil with the blessing of Hon’ble Dr. P.D. Patil, it runs a constituent unit of Dr DY Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune. The institute has secured re-accredition (3rd Cycle) A++ Grade and ISO 9001:2015 certified deemed to be University. The college provides medical education along with advanced clinical care and research.

The institute is mainly supported by one of Maharashtra's largest and most modern speciality hospitals. Its main intention showcases excellence in teaching, patient services, ethical practices, and transparent healthcare delivery, providing a wide range of Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Super-Speciality and Research programmes. The institute is identified by the National Medical Commission (NMC), it was originally started with an MBBS-UG Program, seat intake of 100 as the year passed away the education got expanded offering UG, PG, and SS Level. Today , it has offered 250 seats for UG program, PG, and SS level programs offered in the medical field. This medical programme reflects the college's commitment to practical training, compassionate, and skilled health care professionals who can do the needs for the society.

The institution is also recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) through Deemed-to-be-University status of the parent Vidyapeeth. The institution upholds an NAAC accreditation and a grade of A++, and an accreditation of NABH and NABL for hospital and Laboratory services. The hospital and Research Centre that is attached to the institute is one of the largest and most advanced mutlti-speciality healthcare facilities in Maharashtra. The institute spans around 42 acres.
