Mahadevappa Rampure Medical College

Under the leadership of late. Sri Mahadevappa Rampure,the college is named as Mahadeppa Rampure Medical College (MRMC Gulbarga) which was established in 1958 under Hyderabad Karnataka Education Society (HKES). Over many decades, in 1963 the Mahadevappa Rampure Medical College was formed and it became the 2nd private medical composite to receive the medical Council of India (MCI). Until 1995, the college was affiliated with Gulbarga University, later on it was affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science (RGUHS), Bangalore.

The Gulbarga Campus is spread around 120 acres allotting the academic building, separate hotels for boys and girls, a well - allotted sports area, an advanced based seminar and lecture halls with audio- visual effects. The college has affiliated MBBS Course with seat intake 150 and MD/MS Courses with 19 specialisation covering clinical, pre-clinical and para clinical departments. Eligibility Criteria and Admission Process :

• The candidates belonging to general category and joining the MBBS Program must have qualified in the core subjects :Physics, Chemistry, Biology with English Language of 50% aggregate.

Admission Process

• The candidates need to clear the NEET-UG 2026 entrance exam conducted by the NTA and get qualified in it.
