The KVG Medical College and Hospital was introduced by a Dr. Kurunji Venkatramana Gowda and it is managed by the Academy of Liberal Education (AOLE). This institution existed in 2002 as a private institution while focusing on the study of medicine. Eligibility Criteria and Admission Process:

The UG and PG courses are undertaken by the KVG Medical College &  Hospital Sullia. The eligible candidates will be guided based on their merits obtained in their respective entrance exam. The merit-based seat allotment for MBBS, MD/MS Program, the counselling process will be conducted by the KEA-Karnataka Examination Authority. The admission process of the KVG Medical College will proceed on the basis of candidates selection and eligible criteria. Down below the eligibility and admission process has been mentioned.

Eligibility Criteria:


MBBS

  • The candidates belonging to general category and joining the MBBS Program must have qualified in the core subjects :Physics, Chemistry, Biology with English Language of 50% aggregate.

  • For the reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC) must have qualified with an aggregate of 40% in the above mentioned subjects.

  • The candidates must be 17 years old or should have crossed 17 years before the 31st December.


MD/MS

  • The candidates joining the MD/MS Program must uphold an MBBS Degree with an aggregate of 50% from an identified medical college.

  • The candidates must have completed the one year mandatory rotary residential internship before the prescribed admission date.

  • The age limit to join must be 17 years old or must have crossed the age before the 31st December.

Admission Process 

To join the MBBS, MD/MS Program, follow the below mentioned admission process of  KVG Medical College & Hospital, Sullia : 


MBBS

  • The candidates need to clear the NEET-UG 2026 entrance exam conducted by the NTA and get qualified in it.

  • Once the candidates are qualified, they get registered in the KEA official portal for counselling.

  • Seat allotment process will be based on the candidates score in NEET UG, reservation category, and quota (Government / Private / NRI).
