About GAMC
Government Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital, Mysuru was established in 1908, it was founded as the Government initiatives and is managed and funded by Government of Karnataka. The college has been running since 1908 and is a 110 old institution. GA college is not only an education institution but also plays a significant role as a centre of excellence in the field of Ayurveda.
The GA college has the most experienced and energetic faculty members. The faculty members of college have more than 20 years of teaching experience for their credits. And the other faculty are also more enthusiastic, and are ready to teach the young students. The atmosphere of the college is friendly, and it has developed a student fraternity.
The academics has helped the students to reach their goals in high and has given practice in the field of Ayurveda. The College has offered UG and PG programs. The BAMS Course has 100 seats and the MD/MS program has 22 seats. The GA college is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, and it is recognised /approved by the Central council of India Medicine (CCIM).

To offer quality care as announced by the department of AYUSH and to do standard operative procedure that is allotted by the department of AYUSH in a time bound fashion by 2030.
To provide all the quality medicines in the existing 2020.

Making all the hospital services fall in one roof such as Ayurveda Yoga in general and panchakarma, Ksharasutra, Koumarabritya like Ayurveda specialities in a particular area.
