NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is India’s national-level medical entrance examination conducted for admission into MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, and other allied health science courses. It is mandatory for students who want to study medical programs in government and private colleges across India.
The exam is based on the Class 11 and 12 syllabus of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and follows a multiple-choice question (MCQ) format. Admission is granted based on NEET rank, category cutoff, and counseling process.
NEET is conducted once every year and serves as the single standardized gateway for undergraduate medical education in India.
