Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering (SJCE), Mysuru is one of the oldest and well established engineering institutions in Karnataka, functioning under the JSS Mahavidyapeetha educational group, the college was founded in 1963 with the objective of providing structured technical education in southern Karnataka and has gradually evolved into a multidisciplinary engineering campus offering undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs across major branches of engineering and applied sciences. The institution is academically autonomous and affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, which allows it to regularly update its curriculum while maintaining university academic standards and evaluation framework.
