Haveri Institute of Medical Sciences, Haveri was formed in 2022 - 23 which originally stepped in the city of Haveri district. The campus has officially given the acceptance for the MBBS-UG seat intake - 150. The college is known to be an autonomous structure with a campus size of 56 acres. The college is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science, Bangalore, Karnataka. While the college has an associated hospital which is a benefit for the students. The district hospital has a seat intake of 330 beds which increases to 550 in a shorter period of time. For the program, the admission criteria will go on the process of the Entrance Exam NEET - UG. 

The Haveri institute of Medical Science has provided excellent features for the college including : smart classrooms, lecture halls, Auditorium, well - organised laboratories, examination halls, museums for the pre and para clinical departments, a central library and a sports arena for the students. The composite gives the major materials to meet the norms of the NMC, by handling around 1300 - 1500 OPD cases, OT Cases - of around 40 days in - patients and 90% of admission for daily and 250 cases being delivered. The applicants are appreciated to participate in cultural, sports and other resources of co - curricular activities. Eligibility Criteria and Admission Process :

The UG courses that are undertaken by the HIMS Haveri. The eligible candidates will be guided based on their merits obtained in their respective entrance exam. The merit-based seat allotment for MBBS Program, the counselling process will be conducted by the KEA-Karnataka Examination Authority. MBBS

• The candidates belonging to general category and joining the MBBS Program must have qualified in the core subjects :Physics, Chemistry, Biology with English Language of  50% aggregate.

• For the reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC) must have qualified with an aggregate of 40% in the above mentioned subjects.

• The candidates must be 17 years old or should have crossed 17 years before the 31st December.

Admission Process

• The candidates need to clear the NEET-UG entrance exam conducted by the NTA and get qualified in it.

• Once the candidates are qualified, they get registered in the KEA official portal for counselling.

• Seat allotment process will be based on the candidates score in NEET UG, reservation category, and quota (Government / Private / NRI).

• During the choice selection, keep your first preference on HIMS, Haveri and choose the MBBS course.
