Bidar Institute of Medical Science, Bidar is an institution name that has been abbreviated as BRIMS. The college was formed in 2005 by the government of Karnataka. It eventually has a teaching hospital along with a medical college in Bidar, Karnataka. The college is working under the Government of Karnataka, and has been identified by the MCI / NMC, meanwhile it is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Karnataka.
Officially the hospital needed to be set up with a strengthening of 300 beds and later it got upgraded to expand teaching hospitals into 750 beds. The newly stabilized building has eight floors with different departments. It contains: OTs, Central Lab, newly emerged instruments, which existed in 2017. The composite has offered UG and PG courses in different fields.
The seat intake for the MBBS was probably 100 but annually it got increased to 150 by 2017. The admission process will take place through NEET-UG.
