Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute (BMCRI) was established in 1955,it is located in Bangalore, Karnataka. It has been approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC). It has been affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science since 1996. The college is placed 14th position for Best Medical College as it is ranked by India Today 2024. The campus of BMCRI Bangalore is spread out in 200 acres and has 3000+ beds in the hospital. 

The institute offers various scholarship programs to the candidates at BMCRI Bangalore and the students belonging to different categories like: SC/ST/EWS and outstanding students. The institute has provided all necessary facilities to the students such as: well equipped classrooms, hostels, auditoriums, laboratories and many more facilities to the candidates.

BMCRI Institute offers courses for the Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Doctoral level. The courses are: MBBS, MD,MS,M.Ch AND DM in many specialisations like Pharmocology, Radiodiagnosis, Urology and so on. BMCRI conducts candidates for UG-250, PG-135,DOCTORAL-12 and DIPLOMA-71 students. The college is located near to three teaching hospitals like Victoria Hospital, Vanivilas and Children's Hospital, and Minto Eye Hospital.
